I’ve been really busy the past couple months, so am trying to get caught up on posting some new sessions to my blog. Here are just a few of my favorites from Tywana and Dom’s recent engagement session with me at the USC Horseshoe. Enjoy!

Wintergreen Woods, Lexington, SC Wedding Venue

I’ve decided to feature a few of my favorites venues for weddings, so am starting with the beautiful Wintergreen Woods Wedding Pavilion and Reception Hall in Lexington, SC. You can’t go wrong with having your wedding and reception at Wintergreen Woods. The owners, Casey and Dixie, always do a fabulous job, as does all of their staff. The terraced garden is just perfect for outdoor ceremonies and the interior feels warm and cozy with the big stone fireplace. I always enjoy photographing at Wintergreen Woods, so if you’re planning a wedding there, I’d love to hear from you!

Mary and Drew’s USC Horseshoe Wedding by SC Wedding Photographer

Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for Mary and Drew’s wedding and reception on the USC Horseshoe on September 4th.

Before the ceremony inside Rutledge Chapel, we got a chance to photograph their first look at one another. Always a sweet moment!

We had lots of time for post-ceremony photos on the horseshoe before everyone headed across the lawn to the McCutchen House for a great reception.

Nothing’s better than good food, good music, good folks and good weather!

2009 has been a wonderfully busy year for me with weddings, and 2010 looks to be even busier as my calendar

Jessica and Stephen’s Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Jessica and Stephen last week. They drove up from Savannah, Georgia to book their August 2010 wedding with me and have their engagement session done. After meeting in the early afternoon, we met up again in the early evening at the USC Horseshoe. Had a light sprinkle of rain, but luckily it stopped quickly. Here are a few images from the session…
