I’ve missed getting bridal sessions highlighted on the blog lately, so thought I’d go back and dig up a few. So, here are a few of the brides who I’ve missed getting on the blog this year…

o.k.— I admit this one’s a little late, but better late than never! Aubrae and Timmy’s wedding took place in June near Rock Hill. My young photographer friend, Corey Potter, was Timmy’s best man, and I was honored to be asked to photograph the wedding & reception. It’s always fun working with Corey and Ashley Potter, and their friends are some of the sweetest and silliest people I know. Hope you enjoy seeing some of the images from this blessed day!

Well, it’s already September 30th, so that mean’s it’s the LAST DAY to enter our 2012 FREE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE CONTEST! Get your entry in by midnight tonight, September 30, 2011.

Enter by e-mailing your love story and wedding info to patty@HallmanPhoto.com. Include your names, wedding date and location, reception location, and a photo of you and your fiance together. Your love story can be anything from the story of how you met, how the proposal happened, or anything that tells us about how special you two are. Keep it short and sweet!

Only dates that we have available when voting ends are eligible for the contest. Finalists will be posted to this blog by October 10th and that’s when the voting starts. Votes will be tallied by individual comments posted indicating the couple the commenter is voting for. Only one comment per person/e-mail address. Extra votes can be gained for comments posted on our Hallman Photography Facebook page indicating who the vote is for. Again, one vote per person. Click the “more info” tab in the upper right corner of this blog to get to our Facebook page quickly. Voting via this blog and Facebook will end on October 31, 2011. The winning couple will be announced on the blog and Facebook page by November 10th.

Well, it’s safe now to share a few of Karen’s bridal portraits since she’s married as of September 3rd. I had the pleasure of photographing Karen and creating a beautiful 3D bridal portrait for her. Unfortunately, I couldn’t photograph her wedding since I was previously booked for her wedding date. Jennifer and Evan’s wedding, by Columbia SC wedding photographer

Better late than never! I’m finally getting some images from Jennifer and Evan’s July 9th wedding at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lexington posted to my blog. St. Peter’s Lutheran is such a beautiful church. I just love the gray stonework of this church and the solid, sturdy look… a perfect foundation to build a perfect marriage foundation upon. Jennifer and Evan’s reception was held at Four O’ Three North Lake in Lexington. The band “Threshold” out of Charlotte played and they were fabulous! Look them up if you’re considering a live band for your reception.

Kayla and Chad’s Huntington Beach Portrait Session, by SC wedding photographer

Kayla and Chad wanted to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary with a beach portrait session, so we headed down to Huntington Beach State Park near Murrell’s Inlet, SC a couple weeks ago. These two are so photogenic and so in love, that’s it’s always fun photographing them! Chad looked so handsome in his dress blues, and Kayla was gorgeous in her wedding dress. We started off photographing around Atalaya Castle, then headed out onto the beach. Got some great shots on the dunes with the intense sun shining behind, and then headed toward the tide!

Staci’s Boone Hall Plantation Bridal Portraits, by SC Wedding Photographer

Well, now that Staci is on her honeymoon it’s safe to post some of her bridal session images. We headed down to Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant a few weeks ago to photograph Staci’s bridals. It was a beautiful sunny day, but the wind was blowing like crazy! There are so many great spots around Boone Hall that we didn’t have time to photograph Staci everywhere before closing time. Which do you think Staci picked for her bridal portrait?

It was the last image on the tree-lined driveway that ended up as her pick for a 16×20 canvas bridal portrait, but Staci had lots of favorites. Oh, by the way, Staci also did a bridal boudoir session a few days before her wedding. Stay tuned for a peek at those soon!

It’s January and cold outside, so I’m trying to stay warm by revisiting some weddings from warmer months gone by. Here is a collage of images from Meghan and Chris’ Hilton Head beach wedding at the Hilton Oceanfront Resort. We had a great time photographing Meghan and Chris and their family and friends. I always LOVE photographing beach weddings anywhere, but Hilton Head weddings are extra wonderful. If you’re engaged and planning a beach wedding in Hilton Head, Beaufort, Charleston, Myrtle Beach or elsewhere, I’d love to hear from you.
