My Fav’s from Emily’s Bridal Portrait Session at 701 Whaley in Columbia, SC

Now that Emily and Kevin’s wedding at The River Road and The Jasmine House is in the rearview mirror, I’d like to share some of my favorites from Emily’s Bridal Session at 701 Whaley in Columbia, SC.  First, let me say that I got the sweetest message from Emily’s hubby Kevin after the wedding.  Kevin thanked me for being their photographer and let me know that he had seen some of Emily’s bridal portraits and LOVED them.  That absolutely MADE MY DAY, and is one of the reasons I do what I do.  It makes me proud and satisfied when people tell me how much they appreciate my work.  OK… back to the meat of this post!

I always love photographing at 701 Whaley, and when the weather in Columbia, SC is famously HOT, this venue makes the perfect location for an AC cooled indoor bridal session.  Those old wooden floors and the beautiful light from tall arched windows is simply gorgeous! Add that to having a stunning bride in an amazing dress, plus, of course a talented photographer {insert me blushing} and here’s what you get!

Hallman Photography is becoming Studio Two One Two!

You may have already noticed the change.  If not, here is what is happening….. I’ll be closing Hallman Photography, LLC at the end of 2016 and doing business solely as Studio Two One Two, LLC.  With that comes more good change… like a fabulous new website at www.StudioTwoOneTwo.com, plus a new and improved blog.  I’m still the same person, Patty Hallman, and am still the dedicated professional photographer I’ve been for over 11 years now.  I’m actually new and improved too come to think about it.  I am working harder than ever to learn about social media, and how to market myself and find the right clients.  I have to admit, it makes my brain hurt sometimes, but I’m chipping away and getting smarter about all this stuff.

So, for the coming months, you’ll be seeing more of my Studio Two One Two logo and less and less of the old Hallman Photography logo.   Remember, change is good. With change, comes growth so watch out world. Patty’s moving on up!

Rebecca and Terry’s SC Farm Wedding, by SC Wedding Photographer

It was a beautiful and very sunny late April day when Rebecca and Terry said their “I do’s”.   They married on Terry’s family’s organic farm near Pelion, SC.  It was a beautiful setting, with chairs set out in a circular pattern around the couple as they exchanged vows in the middle of a big mowed hay field.  Here’s a sampling from the day…
