Despite it being a yucky, rainy day, I had a great time presenting a program on Equine (Horse) Photography to about 100 people in Columbia at the State Fairgrounds today. I was so excited when I got the request to do the program a few weeks ago! I got to meet some great folks and was even asked to come photograph at a couple of horse farms in the area. Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE photographing people, especially my brides and grooms, but give me the chance to photograph horses, and I’m giddy. Put a bride on a horse, give me my camera and I’m in heaven!!
Here’s a little of my work that I showed and talked about today…

Thank you to all the brides and grooms-to-be who stopped by my booth this past Sunday at the WNOK Bridal Showcase at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The show was huge success with over 1200 people through the doors and over 450 brides registered. I always look forward to bridal shows, even though it’s a LOT of work getting ready for them, and my feet are always soooo tired after them! If you missed me, it’s not too late to get in on my bridal show specials. Post a comment with your e-mail address or send me an e-mail (patty@hallmanphoto.com) to receive package/pricing info along with the bridal show specials.

Well, it’s the beginning of a new year and that means it’s time to update my main web site, www.HallmanPhoto.com. So, after looking back at engagement sessions I shot in 2011, I decided to put some of those wonderful couples back on my blog… an encore, I guess. I’m heading upstate now for a great engagement session in downtown Greenville… can’t wait!

It’s always fun getting to photograph my former brides & grooms after they’ve had babies, so I was delighted recently when I was asked to do a family portrait for Raven and Koto and their adorable 2 year old boy. Just had to share a few of those images with you all!
